What to ask your teacher about testing

Here are some ideas of what to ask your child's teacher about tests:

• Does the school test, and if so, which tests, and are they aligned to the state's standards?
• How will the teacher use your child's individual results to improve specific skills?
• How much will you as a parent be told about your child's test results?
• Are there things you can do at home with your child to help strengthen particular skills?
